Skkynet Technology Featured at SCF 2015 in Tokyo

by Bob McIlvride

System Control Fair (SCF) exhibits by members of the ThunderCloud Alliance will use Skkynet’s DataHub® and WebView™ technologies for data connectivity and display.

Mississauga, Ontario, December 1, 2015 – Skkynet Cloud Systems, Inc. (“Skkynet” or “the Company”) (OTCQB:SKKY), a global leader in real-time cloud information systems, reports that its Cogent DataHub® real-time middleware and WebView™ web-based HMI will be used in exhibits by members of the ThunderCloud Alliance (関西積乱雲プロジェクト) to demonstrate automation solutions at SCF 2015 on December 2-4, 2015 in Tokyo, Japan. Hardware and software demonstrations by Alliance members at booth S4-23 in West Hall 3 will show a variety of real-time data access and supervisory control applications powered by DataHub and WebView technology.

SCF is Japan’s largest industrial control event, showcasing cutting edge technologies in manufacturing and automation. The theme of this year’s show, “The 4th Industrial Revolution?Getting Connected,” considers the impact of globalization and economics on manufacturing and the movement towards transforming industrial production into a service, through the benefit of IT and the Internet of Things (IoT). The show’s organizers have established an Open Network Zone in which the latest hardware, technology, and services will be displayed.

“The exhibits by members of the ThunderCloud Alliance showcase the broad range of Skkynet’s end-to-end solutions for the Industrial IoT,” said Paul Thomas, President of Skkynet. “Real-time data from industrial equipment, embedded boards and other devices running at the members’ stations will be fed to live WebView displays, using either a Cogent DataHub running locally on their systems or BellChild’s iBRESS Secure Micro Cloud that provides DataHub connectivity as a secure, cloud-based service.”

The ThunderCloud Alliance was formed by Skkynet in December 2013 to provide a turn-key, real-time sensor-to-cloud service for the industrial M2M (Machine to Machine) market. Working in close association with TOA Musendenki, Nissin Systems, BellChild, NiC, KOBATA Gauge, Puerto Co., and Direx, Skkynet’s role is to furnish the real-time data connectivity technology necessary to make cloud-based M2M communication and the Industrial IoT a reality.
