The Opportunity
Skkynet is seeking a versatile Web & CRM Developer to manage, develop, and optimize our digital footprint and internal sales pipelines. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and collaborating closely with the broader team, this hybrid role requires a unique mix of full-stack web development expertise and advanced marketing operations knowledge.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and updating our company websites while simultaneously working on structuring and organizing our sales and marketing automation ecosystems and CRMs. You will own the technical connectivity between our customer-facing web assets and our internal sales data flows, ensuring seamless lead capture, data integrity, and automated workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Web Development & Design: Architect, build, and maintain responsive web pages and software applications using WordPress, custom themes, and plugins. Write clean, efficient code across front-end and back-end environments.
- CRM and Automation Architecture: Develop, build and administer, organize, and optimize our Salesforce CRM platform to ensure precise data hygiene. Connect and manage HubSpot integration to segment lists, build automated workflows, and track lead lifecycles with the Director, Marketing.
- Analytics & SEO Support: Ensure robust tracking scripts, Google Analytics, and custom tags are accurately deployed. Optimize site infrastructure for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) performance and page speed algorithms.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and validate rigorous test routines to ensure all digital assets mimic external interfaces seamlessly, work perfectly across all browser and device types, and comply with security and web standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Stack Expertise: Advanced proficiency in PHP, WordPress (including custom theme/plugin development), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL database management within Linux environments, Salesforce APEX or equivalent Java experience.
- Platform Mastery: Hands-on experience configuring and connecting Salesforce and HubSpot, specifically managing API syncs, contact segmentation and data accuracy, form mapping, and automated nurturing workflows.
- Experience: 4+ years of professional web development experience, ideally in a B2B technology environment. Experience handling marketing operations or pipeline architecture is a major asset.
- Problem Solver & Logical Thinker: Demonstrates an ability to map out complex, multi-platform processes and troubleshoot integration errors calmly and logically.
- Person who takes initiative: As a small team, we value self-starters who identify gaps in systems or workflows and proactively propose code-based or operational solutions.

The Opportunity
Skkynet is seeking a Marketing Manager to support the Director, Marketing in creating and executing yearly marketing plans and campaigns with the goals of growing brand recognition globally for Skkynet’s Cogent DataHub technology, driving lead generation, nurturing leads, assisting sales and partner initiatives, improving processes, creating content, and reporting on results. The responsibilities of the Marketing Manager will include but are not limited to: coordination of the production of advertising content, coordination with publications, managing newsletters and mailers for leads and customers, managing social media accounts, coordinating the creation of sales enablement materials and conference booths, and content creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management – Understand request details and goals and translate them into creative briefs for writer, designer, and web developer. Facilitate timelines with other company priorities, manage feedback, production and trafficking while communicating with various company and partner stakeholders.
- Content Creation – Use various technologies to produce and enhance planned and ad hoc content for website, conferences, social media, newsletters, and publications. This may include writing and editing copy, filming content, editing video, using AI tools to create photos and video etc.
- Day-to-Day Marketing Operations – Ability to efficiently run and maintain requirements for recurring tasks such as social posting, mailer editing and scheduling, campaign trafficking to ensure consistent execution.
- Market and Competitor Research – Track industry, customer and competitive behaviour and create reports and actionable insight that can be presented and help inform new project direction.
- Analytics – Assist with tracking, analyzing, and internally presenting analytics for marketing materials, social media, website, etc. to ultimately drive improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Industry Experience: 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing positions ideally in the industrial Automation (OT) or Industrial IoT software space. Preference will also be given to those with experience in Accounts at a Creative Agency or who have project management experience with a creative team.
- Education: Preference for those who studied advertising, marketing, business, sales, or sociology.
- Strategic thinker: Looks at every project and decision as a means to achieving a strategic benefit for the company. Ties every request back to the original goal to ensure that this is not forgotten about.
- Creativity, passion, a good eye: Demonstrates a passion for marketing and advertising as a discipline and art form. This role will include working on creative projects across mediums, maintaining brand guidelines, creative problem solving, and there is always something to be improved and created. We want someone who is excited about that.
- Person who takes initiative: As a small team, we value people who take initiative on important tasks and initiatives without being told. This is an outlook which is mandatory for a fast-paced growing environment like at Skkynet.
