Securely stream your embedded data

Here’s what you get with the Skkynet ETK:

Faster project completion.

Pre-installed OPC UA, Modbus, and DHTP protocols let you quickly configure in-plant and cloud connections. SDK parameter support for any other protocol.

High performance.

Receives, integrates, and streams up to 50,000 data changes per second—at speeds just microseconds over network latencies. See a demo.

Device and data security.

Patented technology for outbound-only connections means no exposed attack surface—no IT policy changes, no open firewall ports, and no VPNs. Built-in SSL library for data encryption.

Single, unified data set.

Supports multiple protocols simultaneously, for unlimited client and server connections. Pools all data into a single set, no need for a gateway.

One-way or two-way.

Stream data from your devices for monitoring, or stream commands, updates and configuration back to your system. Or both.

Free*

The ETK is free to use* for qualified partners connecting to DataHub or SkkyHub, with no run-time royalties or licensing fees.

Cloud Connections

Devices running the ETK can connect directly to SkkyHub. This provides real-time access to data, with remote monitoring and optional supervisory control through SkkyHub WebView. The DHTP protocol ensures secure, high-performance networking. You can connect the ETK in 2 ways:

  1. Installed on the Red Lion cellular RTUs or routers.
  2. Compiled on the embedded OS of your choice.

On-Site Connections

Devices running the ETK can connect over DHTP to the DataHub running at a plant or other facility. This provides local data logging and integration, as well as monitoring and supervisory control with DataHub WebView. For end-to-end Industrial IoT scenarios, the  DataHub serves as a secure gateway to SkkyHub, to provide wider access to ETK data in real time. Multiple ETK-to-Skkyhub and DataHub-to-SkkyHub connections can support complete plant networking solutions.
