Embedded Toolkit = Everything Connected

Both SkkyHub™ and DataHub® products accepts Machine-to-Machine (M2M) connections from any device that is running the Embedded Toolkit (ETK) . The ETK is a C library that provides the building blocks to connect and communicate with the SkkyHub service or DataHub, which enables any device to securely connect to the Internet of Things in real time for remote monitoring and supervisory control.

  • The Embedded Toolkit can run on Linux, uClinux, TreadX and TRON hosts on virtually any CPU, including resource-constrained MPUs with no floating point or MMU support.

Remote Monitoring and Supervisory Control – Made Easy

Secure.  The ETK makes an outbound WebSockets connection from the device to SkkyHub or DataHub products, which means no inbound connections and no potential attack surface is exposed to the Internet. It optionally supports SSL encryption, and requires no VPN or additional security hardware.

Fast. The Service can receive, integrate, and resend up to 50,000 data changes per second at speeds just a few milliseconds over Internet latency. Data flow can be configured as one-way or bidirectional.

Flexible.  Both the SkkyHub and DataHub products support multiple simultaneous connections, allowing for fully integrated real-time M2M communication between devices located anywhere in the world.

Tested.  The ETK has been installed and tested on Raspberry Pi, Armadillo, mbed, Arduino, GR-Sakura, and ARCNET boards running Linux or TRON, as well as Lantronix XPort, WinPort, MatchPort, WiPort, PremierWave, and more.

End to End.  The ETK coupled with either the SkkyHub and DataHub products provide a complete end to end development platform. SkkyHub includes WebView®, a a full-featured web-based HMI to display live data from any device in charts, trends, gauges or other controls, as well as real-time integration to virtually any SCADA system. DataHub provides real-time integration to virtually any SCADA system.
